Matter before prompt
Documents, chronology, issues, evidence, strategy and work product remain connected to the same governed matter context.
Platform overview
Sanctum Lex connects the record, legal reasoning, adversarial review, hearing preparation, knowledge and governance in one institutional workspace for sensitive legal work.

Documents, chronology, issues, evidence, strategy and work product remain connected to the same governed matter context.
Internal Strategy, Opposing Counsel and Judicial Review can test the same position from different roles before a lawyer relies on it.
Identity, data handling, model routes, retention and egress are defined around the firm's approved deployment rather than assumed from a generic SaaS configuration.
Deployment
Sanctum Lex supports governed and private-perimeter deployment patterns. The client-specific deployment record states which route, controls and egress conditions are actually active.
01
The firm approves the external model endpoint and Sanctum Lex governs what is sent, who may use it, how the matter is scoped and how the route is audited.
02
For matters that cannot leave the firm's environment, inference can run locally with outbound paths denied. In that configuration, there is no external model egress.
The system
The working environment
Light mode is the default across matters, research, knowledge and drafting. The same institutional structure carries the work from firm overview into reviewed document output.

Ecosystem
A boundary is described as connected only after authorization, permission mapping and a successful test in the client environment.
Controls
Sanctum Lex is designed to support GDPR, HIPAA and SOC 2-aligned controls. SAML SSO, scoped audit logs, IP allow lists and configurable retention policies are available as standard enterprise controls.
